ANON and Anon in the Arches

Anon was inspired by the desire to express self-awareness of the human condition and how the past often determines the way in which we experience the present moment. A young woman interacts with the architecture of a dance studio as sound, light, and shadows sculpt space; the room is projected back onto itself to create an illusion of reality. The audience observes the space constantly changing. A tangible live human presence is felt, yet in fact there is only pre-recorded digital image and sound.

Anon is a site-specific video projection and sound installation that explores the presence of space and the subtleties of human behaviour.

Anon in the Arches is a re-creation of Anon, shown as a Platform Artist within the National Review of Live Art, New Territories 2003 and supported by South and Southern East Arts.
